Who is Francisca?

Francisca was a woman ahead of her time. Born in Camaguey, Cuba Jan 29, 1913. She was beautiful inside and out. She was my mother-in-law, the best anyone ever have. Those close to her called her lovingly "Panchita". She was spiritual, gentle, compassionate, non-judgmental, loved poetry and reading. She was a master solving crossword puzzles in Spanish/English. She was elegant and always dressed to impress. Embracing life’s ups and downs always finding resilience in unexpected situations. Never complained and always had a smiled on her face. She had words of wisdom and good advice for those who wanted a piece of her mind.

She had a soft suspicious smile. When she looked at you and smiled her dimples would accentuate and you would see her beauty even more. She was always ready to embrace new challenges and ideas and welcomed everyone into her space, appreciating her alone time as well. Was soft spoken and never raised her voice. Francisca’s Place is dedicated to her memory.
